The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would fall 59-44 to Crow Creek while the Buffalo boys would fall 84-75 in Stephan on Thursday night as The Chieftains would pick up a doubleheader sweep.
Stanley County falls to now 0-14 on the season and just couldn’t overcome the Lady Chieftains on the night as Crow Creek improves back over .500 at now 7-6 on the year. The Buffalo boys on the other hand fall back below the .500 mark at now 6-7 after its three game winning streak was stopped. Crow Creek moves to 5-7 on the season trying to pass the Buffs in the Region 6A standings.
Stanley County will return home on Saturday night for a doubleheader against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte which is Hall of Fame night. Sam Ostarello will be inducted into the Stanley County Hall of Fame between the girls and boys varsity games. The girls will play first at 5:00 with the boys game to follow at the Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre.
