The Stanley County Buffaloes will head on the road tonight as they travel over to Stephan to face Region 6A opponent Crow Creek in a girls and boys doubleheader.
The Lady Buffs are still searching for its first win after falling to Gregory by 10 on Tuesday in Gregory. Stanley County is 0-13 on the season, but will face a team on a downward slide. Crow Creek began the season at 5-1, but since are 1-5 and stand at 6-6 on the season. Crow Creek is in fourth place in the 6A standings and the Lady Buffs are in eighth.
The Buffaloes sit just above Crow Creek in the standings as Stanley County sits in fifth at 6-6 while the Chieftains are 4-7 and in sixth place in the 6A standings. Crow Creek has on three straight to pull to 4-7 including a win over Miller who played Stanley County close in its game. Stanley County is still fighting for a top four spot in the standings so the game becomes big against a Region opponent.
Tip off of the girls game is set for around 6:30 with the boys game to follow from Stephan.
