Harrold resident Jay Miller is Hanson’s neighbor and while he appreciates what Hanson wants to do, he does have concerns about the small five-acre size for hunting, noise from dogs and alcoholic beverages on site…
Hanson says he’s moved dog kennels farther away and only wants beer and wine licenses due to the lack of and cost of liquor licenses…
Miller says Hanson’s explanations helped him understand his plans but he still has concerns with the project. Commissioner Connie Hohn thanked Hanson for his initiative in wanting to do something in Harrold. The Hughes County Commission gave unanimous approval to the rezoning request.
