The Sully Buttes Chargers will be on the road tonight as they travel to Tulare to face the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots in a girls and boys doubleheader.
The Charger girls are looking to get back to the .500 mark sitting at 5-6 heading into tonight. However, the Chargers haven’t played since last week Monday when they beat the Timber Lake Panthers stopping a four game losing streak. Hitchcock-Tulare comes in at 3-9 on the season falling to Redfield by one on Tuesday and have lost five of the last six games. The Chargers are currently in fifth place in the 6B standings past the halfway point of the season.
On the boys side, the Charger boys are looking to get back in the win column after another heartbreaking loss on Tuesday to the Stanley County Buffaloes. Sully Buttes, at 3-6, have half of the losses within three points and a win by a single point. The Chargers are battled test in close games, but unfortunately are 1-3 in those close games. Hitchcock-Tulare comes in at 5-6 after its win over the Redfield Pheasants.
DT Meyer will be in Tulare tonight for the doubleheader as the girls will play around 6:30 and the boys game will follow. Both games will be on Country 95.3 and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports.
