Bill To Adjust Grain Buying Licensing Period Passes South Dakota Legislature

PIERRE, (KCCR) — A bill in the South Dakota Legislature to streamline the licensing timeline for buying grain in the state is on it’s way to the desk of Governor Kristi Noem. S-B 22 passed the Committee Tuesday on a 13-to-zero vote. It was placed on the consent calendar Wednesday and cleared the House Chamber 63-to-zero. The bill now goes to Governor Kristi Noem for her consideration.
