The Stanley County Buffaloes finished the Jones County Tournament going 1-1 and the consolation matches canceled for Saturday with only the third place and championship games played this past Tuesday. Tonight, the Buffs are back on the court to face the Potter County Battlers.
Stanley County opens up two straight games with 6B opponents with the Sully Buttes Chargers in town on Tuesday next week, but tonight it’s a chance to get a win against a solid club with the Battlers coming in at 6-3. Stanley County, at 4-6, wants to get back to .500 quickly to keep pace with Mobridge-Pollock who currently sit in fourth in the 6A standings and give the Buffaloes a home game in the playoffs. The Buffs still have a month left in the season.
Tip off tonight will be around 8:00 from the Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre.
