Pierre Man Arrested Monday For Breaking Into Residence, Assaulting Police

PIERRE, (KCCR) — A Pierre man is arrested Monday on multiple charges after police say he broke into a Pierre residence. Captain Dusty Pelle says officers were called Monday morning around 1:40 am to the 600 block of West Dakota Avenue for a report of a subject breaking into a residence. The occupants of the residence were able to get 32 year-old Milo Bullbear out of their home. A short time later, police were able to locate and identify Bullbear as the subject. As officers attempted to bring Bullbear into custody, he became aggressive; pushing an officer into a wall. A Taser was used to get Bullbear into custody. He became aggressive again waiting for medical treatment and tried to spit on an officer. Bullbear was transported to the Hughes County Jail on charges including Resisting Arrest, Obstructing an Officer, Simple Assault Against Law Enforcement, First Degree Burglary, Intentional Damage to Property and Assault By Causing Contact with Bodily Fluids.
