PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will get an update on the Bright Energy Solutions program from Missouri River Energy Services before considering approval of a four item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes, claims, the 2024 fire department roster and a raffle request filed by the South Dakota Discovery Center. The main agenda is short with only three items including a request to purchase forsta screens for the Water Department and an outdoor pool scoreboard. The last agenda item is a request to bid a surface treatment project with Slurry Seal in 2024. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
