The Stanley County boys basketball team will start its three day journey at the Jones County Invitational first playing the Kadoka Area Cougars this afternoon.
Stanley County is currently 3-5 on the season and have dropped back to back games to McLaughlin and White River, a team they could quickly see again on Friday. Meanwhile Kadoka Area comes in at 2-5 beating Colome in its last game stopping a three game losing streak. Stanley County is looking to get in the championship semifinals of the tournament for the first time since the 2021-22 season when they got third place.
Tip off is scheduled for 2:30 this afternoon from Murdo. Friday’s contest will be determined by the outcome of this game and the White River and Colome matchup scheduled for 1:00 this afternoon. You can see the full bracket below.
