Pierre Gymnastics Win Triangular in First Meet Since Mid-December

The Pierre Governor gymnastics team would win the triangular over Hot Springs and Aberdeen Central on Thursday scoring a 136.6 at the Administration Building in Pierre.

Piere was led by Kirsten Korber who would win the vault category with an 8.95. While Korber was the only Gov to win an event, the rest of the team finished high in all categories. Pierre had KaCee Wilson finish inside the top five in the vault and then the Govs had at least three top five finishers in the remaining categories. Nevaeh Karber and Ryen Sheppick would each have a top five finish in the uneven bars, floor and beam routines. Wilson would have another two top five finishes and Maddie Merril would place second in the floor exercise. Wilson, Sheppick and Karber would finish 2-4 in the All-Around for Pierre.
