The Pierre Governor boys basketball team will be at home on Thursday to face the Lincoln Patriots looking to start 2024 how they ended 2023, with a win.
The Govs come in at 4-2 on the season winning a high scoring game this past Saturday taking down the Bismarck Demons. The Govs had four different double digit scorers in the win. Even though the Govs are not in the top eight of the AA standings today, there is still plenty of time to work their way into the top eight with the first game of 2024 to be played tonight. Pierre will also face Washington on Saturday and gets two teams to go up against above them in the AA standings. Lincoln is currently 4-2 having won its last two games this past weekend beating Roosevelt and Jefferson.
