Fort Pierre City Council Get Update On Tatanka Trail Planning

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council was updated Tuesday night on a number of major projects being designed for the city by I-S-G Incorporated. The largest of the projects is the Tatanka Trail, an interpretive, interactive educational area to be taken up by the former Missouri River bridge highway approach. Heim says part of the trail’s completion will be dependent on construction of the new and demolition of the old John C. Waldron Bridge. Work may start on the west end of the trail first and move east. A pedestrian bridge over the Drifter’s marina is also a part of the trail…
