The Pierre Governor girls basketball team would knock off the winless Lincoln Patriots 41-25 on Tuesday night to improve to 5-2 on the season.
The Governors pushed Lincoln to an 0-7 record and did so cruising in the second half. Pierre would lead 12-2 at the end of the first quarter and 27-12 at the half. Lennix DuPris would lead the way with 14 points on the night while Ryann Barry would add 13 as the two double figure scorers for the Govs. Reese Terwilliger had just six points while Gracelynn Taylor would add four. The Patriots would be led Kierra Lubovich with nine.
Pierre will host the Washington Warriors on Saturday with tip off at 2:00 at Riggs High School in Pierre.
