PIERRE, (KCCR) — Pierre City Commissioners will meet for the final time in regular session tonight. Commissioners will consider approval of a four-item consent calendar before holding a public hearing scheduled for 5:45 pm for a lease agreement with the Central South Dakota Enhancement District. The Commission consider a request to allow alcohol at the South Dakota Discovery Center for Brookings/S-D-S-U Day on January 17th and a venue services grant award and pro-track and tennis contract with the U-S Tennis Association. Commissioners will consider a memorandum of understanding with the Boys and Girls Club for the gym floor, a request to purchase playground equipment for Steamboat Park and to authorize for a sidewalk in that park. Other agenda items include an update T-I-F number nine; a developer’s agreement with the Stencil Group, budget transfers, a resolution for funding application for landfill cell four and getting details on the Kamstrup water meter pilot program. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building at 5:30 pm.
