Fort Pierre City Council To Hold Final Regular Meeting Of 2023 Tonight

FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council will hold it’s final regularly scheduled meeting of the year tonight. Council members will hear reports from city officials before getting into the main agenda items. Second reading will be given to the 2024 utility and 2023 supplemental budgets and the Council will consider approval of two resolutions. One is regarding salaries and the second regarding a change to the meeting times for the Council. Council members will consider giving authorization to the city of advertise for an Assistant Public Works Director for Code Enforcement, a 2023 plumbing license and 2024 plumbing, electrical and dray licenses. The Council will consider approval of a mobile home license, a resolution regarding bad debt, a joint powers agreement for the year-round fish cleaning station and an engineering proposal for two 2024 street projects.
