The Aberdeen Cougars would come in to Ft. Pierre on Saturday and beat the Oahe Lady Capitals 7-1 for the Caps first loss of the season.
Aberdeen would score three goals in each of the first two periods and build a 6-0 lead before Katie Reiss would score the Capitals lone goal on the power play, but it was too little too late. Rachel Siefken would have a hat trick to lead the way for the Cougars who are now 4-1 on the season. The Capitals fall for the first time all season and are 4-1-1.
Oahe will host Watertown on Sunday looking to split the weekend and sweep the season series of the Lakers. Puck drop is at 3:00 from the Expo Center in Ft. Pierre.
