The Oahe Capitals would beat the Brandon Valley IceCats 8-0 on Sunday to finish with three of a possible four points in the first shutout of the season.
For the Capitals, Dylan Dodson, Barrett Schweitzer and Devon Dodson would each score a goal in the first period before Devon Dodson and Aiden Dozark would each score in the first two and half minutes in the second period to take a quick 5-0 lead. Jarron Beck would score the final three goals including two in the third period as the Capitals would use run time to pick up the win and go to 3-3-1 on the season. Jaxon Jungwirth would pick up the 15 save shutout for his first win and shutout of his career in his second start.
