Capitals Fight Back, Earn Point with Tie

The Sioux Falls East Flyers would build a 2-0 lead, but the Oahe Capitals would come back and tie the game at 2-2 Saturday night in Sioux Falls.

Vinny Thill would score a power play goal late in the first period for his first of the year and Nick Gergen would score a breakaway goal 47 seconds into the second period and the East Flyers took a 2-0 lead. However, Barrett Schweitzer would score under the bar late in the second period and Jarron Beck would find Devin Dodson on a back door feed for a redirect goal midway through the third period to tie the game at 2-2 sending the game to overtime. Neither team would find the back of the net as the game remained tied 2-2 with both teams receiving a point.
