Northwestern Heading Back to NAIA Championship for Second Straight Year

The Northwestern Red Raiders are once again in the NAIA football championship and will travel to Durham, North Carolina after beating Georgetown of Kentucky 35-10 on Saturday.

The Red Raiders would lead 14-3 at the break and then score another two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help secure the win and remain perfect on the season with just one game remaining, the championship. Jalyn Gramstad would throw three touchdown passes, all to Michael Storey as the Red Raiders improve to 14-0. Onida’s Moris Hofer, still dealing with an injury did not play again, but will have some extra time to hopefully be able to play in the championship as they will play next week Monday, December 18 against Keiser of Florida.

The Championship game will have a kickoff at 11:00 AM Central time on Monday, December 18
