Coming off its win on Friday, the Sully Buttes Chargers will be at home for the first time this season playing in the home opener against the North Central Thunder.
The Thunder are beginning the year against the Chargers once again while Sully Buttes will play its second game of the season tonight. Last year the Chargers beat North Central 55-20 as the Thunder would go .500 the rest of the way and finish the year at 10-11. North Central would fall to Crow Creek in the 4-5 matchup in the first round of the Region 6A tournament. The Thunder graduated just two seniors last year and will have just another two seniors on this year’s team.
