The Pierre Governor wrestling teams will travel start its busy end to the week with a dual in Brookings tonight before traveling across the state to Rapid City on Friday and Saturday.
This is the first dual of the season for both the boys and girls and for the boys team, every dual is important as a team to get a win to help with seed points and to defend the dual state championship which will be two weeks before the individual state tournament. The Governor boys placed third in the Mandan tournament last weekend while the girls placed second. After the dual tonight the Governors will be traveling back home and then get back on the road Friday morning to travel out to Rapid City for the next weekend tournament.
The dual begins at 7:00 in Brookings tonight.
