Kansas Fugitive Arrested In Miller

MILLER, (KCCR) — Law enforcement in Hand County teamed up to bring a fugitive from Kansas into custody. According to a post on the City of Miller Facebook page, the Miller Police Department was notified on Monday by authorities in Kansas that Jordan Russel Lane Bell was residing in Miller. A felony warrant was issued in Ford County, Kansas for Bell on charges of Rape with a Child Under 14 Years of Age and Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child. Bell was wanted on a 250-thousand dollar bond. Miller Police along with the Hand County Sheriff’s Office and South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks conservation officers executed a high risk warrant on Bell at the Dew Drop Inn and took Bell into custody without incident. Ford County, Kansas is located southwest Kansas. It’s county seat is Dodge City.
