PIERRE. (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a four-item consent calendar before moving on to the main agenda. The Commission will consider approval of Tax Increment District number Nine for the Stencil Group apartment complex on Abbie Road. Two public hearings are scheduled for 5:45 pm. Both are for leases at Pierre Regional Airport; one with Key Lime Air and the second with Aircraft Unlimited. A change order for the Runway seven-two-five project leads off new business items. Commissioners will consider approval of a renewal agreement with the Pierre Swim Team for 2023-24 and a fee schedule update to add pricing for the new outdoor swimming pool. Other agenda items include the Winchester Estates Property Transfer; Central South Dakota Communications Joint Powers Agreement; reviewing the 2023 holiday schedule and 2024 salary policy for the police department, emergency services, management and the Commission.
