Staff in the 12 regions will vote for their favorite name. Those finalized names will be added to the Blizzard Bracket in March. Over 70-thousand votes were cast for the best name in the state last year. The Bracket winner was Blizzard Buster, a name submitted from the Sioux Falls area. In the Pierre area, previous winners include Lewis and Clark, Sno Problemo and Little Plow on the Prairie. Winner aera winners include Plowabunga, Plow Patrol and Walter the Salter.
