Dakota Wesleyan would pick up a narrow two point victory over the University of Jamestown on Wednesday night with a 91-89 score.
The Jimmies had a chance with a three pointer at the end of the game, but missed the shot which would have sealed a win for Jamestown as both teams held close throughout the second half with DWU only have a 10 point lead for a moment in the second half. Jakob Dobney would lead the Tigers with 24 points on the night as four players would reach double figures. Will Cordes would lead all scores with 26 on the night for the Jimmies. Sully Buttes’ Nick Wittler would total five minutes of game time grabbing an offensive rebound for Dakota Wesleyan. The Tigers improve to 6-4 with the win while Jamestown falls to 2-6.
Dakota Wesleyan will play again on Saturday traveling to Fremont, Nebraska to face Midland. Tipoff is at 3:45.
