An apprenticeship program put in place to help fill teaching gaps is performing well…
Graves says there are about 90 open positions in districts across the state and those in the apprenticeship program would be able to fill most of those if they continue. Officials says they’ll know next year the true extent of any reduction in the need for teachers in South Dakota.
