The Oahe Lady Capitals will have a double dip on the opening weekend of the season the Caps travel to Mitchell Saturday afternoon and then to Watertown Sunday afternoon.
The Capitals are returning all but three players from last year’s team. Sara Bierne and Alyssa Stahl, both skaters and goalie Abigail Stewart-Fromm. The Capitals this season will look for more offense and scoring as Brylee Kafka, a junior returns after scoring a team leading 18 goals, the only Capital to accomplish the feat last season. The Capitals will face Mitchell at 2:00 on Saturday with coverage starting at 1:30 and then take on Watertown on Sunday at 1:30 with coverage at 1:00. Both games will be on Capital City Rock and on YouTube at Capital City Rock Sports.
