The Miller Rustlers are once again back at the Class A volleyball state tournament as this year will be held in Rapid City. The Rustlers, the three seed, will play the final game of the night tonight against the Wagner Red Raiders.
Last year Miller would place fourth in the Class A state tournament in Sioux Falls falling to Elkton-Lake Benton in the state semifinals and dropping the third place match to Elk Point-Jefferson. The Rustlers return back to the state tournament with different faces from last year’s team. Miller’s first round opponent, Wagner, is the sixth seed this year after being the top overall seed in last year’s state tournament, but ended the weekend with a seventh place finish. The Red Raiders are 26-6 heading into tonight’s contest. It’s the final match of the night and Deboer says the team likes that it is the final match of the night…
