PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of a six-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board comments will follow along with an update from the Riggs Student Senate and any public comment will be taken. Board members will declare any conflicts of interest and hear the annual playground inspection report. The Board will appoint one of its members as a member of the Associated School Board’s Legislative Action Network and will give final reading to a revision of Board policy regarding requests to distribute. Final reading will be given to a proposed policy change on the use of School Vehicles. The Board will close out the meeting by considering action on donations, surplus items and contract matters. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
