Governors Get Rubber Match with Aberdeen Central with Trip to State Tourney on the Line

The Pierre Governors and Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles split its two matches this season with the home team winning both. Tonight, the Govs and Golden Eagles are meeting in the SoDak 16 in Aberdeen.

Pierre wants to stop the trend of the home team winning each match and qualify for the state tournament for the third straight year. The Governors would lose in four sets on Labor Day weekend at the beginning of the season while coming back from an 0-2 hole to reverse sweep Aberdeen Central back on Saturday, October 21. Aberdeen Central ended its season on Thursday last week while the Governors last played last Tuesday.
