Stanley County Commission To Meet Tonight

FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Stanley County Commission is meeting tonight at the Stanley County Courthouse in Fort Pierre. Commissioners will discuss the courthouse elevator and meet with Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal to discuss use of the grandstand for Fort Pierre city storage, a tractor rental and the South Dakota Vacation Guide. Highway Superintendent Lee Smith will discuss an agreement with the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department and an amendment to the Chantier Creek Road Lakeside Use Area agreement. The Commission will consider approval of an application to get permission to enter road advisories and closures to the state SD-511 website, an employee raise, two budget supplements and a 2019 Polaris U-T-V for the Sheriff’s Office. Commissioners will meet with the National Center for Public Land Counties, consider two resolutions and discuss computer equipment. An executive session for personnel is also on the agenda. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five-pm.
