The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would show they were dominant again against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, defeating the Braves for the third time this season with scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-15.
Brylee Kafka would lead the way for the Lady Buffaloes with eight kills and three aces as Stanley County improves its record to 17-7 on the season and will take on Mobridge-Pollock on Thursday for a spot in the SoDak 16. Caycee Knight had six aces for Stanley County who had their way throughout the evening over the Braves. Cadence Hand also had five kills for the Lady Buffs who went 3-0 against the Braves and won all eight sets played between the two teams in 2023.
Mobridge-Pollock didn’t even have to worry about playing on Tuesday as Crow Creek would forfeit its match against the Tigers so the Tigers last played on Friday, October 20 before hosting the Lady Buffs on Thursday.
