PIERRE. (KCCR) — A scary light agenda greets the Pierre City Commission on this Halloween. A proclamation for Buddy Poppy Day will be made in special business before commissioners consider approval of a brief two item consent calendar containing only claims and meeting minutes from the October 24th meeting. In new business, the Commission will consider approval of 2024 dental and health insurance policies and will consider revisions to sections of the city’s personnel policy. Commissioners will also consider a request to purchase an air compressor by the Water Department, an agreement for 2023 manhole lining and an amendment to an engineering agreement with Burns and McDonnell. The Commission will wrap up the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the community.
