The Pierre Governor volleyball team is into its last two games of the season with tonight’s matchup against the Brookings Bobcats a must win.
The Governors are sitting in eighth place in the AA standings and with these final two games, Pierre has to go at least 1-1 to have a chance at a home SoDak 16 match. Of the last four matches of the season, this is the only team behind the Govs in the standings as the Bobcats are currently in tenth at 13-15. Brookings went 4-1 at the East/West tournament on Saturday at Harrisburg.
After its five set win on Saturday, the Governors are now 5-1 in five set matches, the most wins and matches in AA this year.
