PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is set to meet tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Another lighter agenda will greet the Commission tonight at 5:30 pm. First up is approval of a four-item consent calendar. The calendar includes approval of minutes from the October 10th meeting, claims, a Pierre Swim Team raffle request and setting a pubic hearing for October 24th for a temporary liquor license for Larkspur Landing L-L-C at the Larkspur Landing Event Center. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for a temporary liquor license request for the Pierre Area Chamber at the Missouri Avenue Events Center on October 20th. Commissioners will also consider approval of three bid awards. They include bids for electric distribution improvements phase 1-A; furnishing electric materials for the project and for the Pawnee Utilities and Street rebuild. A single item of new business for the Commission includes a change order on the Highway 34 water main loop project. Commissioners will also present any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meeting is open to the community.
