The Pierre Governor boys soccer team had two representatives on this year’s All-ESD conference team with freshman Jacoby LaRoche and junior Steven Blanchette.
LaRoche would lead the team in goals for 2023 scoring seven of the 20 goals in total for the year as the freshman helped lead the charge of the offense. Blanchette would score a goal and be instrumental in the midfield for the Govs on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Both teams will return next year for the Governors who went 3-8-3 and only lost two seniors on the varsity level. Both players will look for an even more increased role in the 2024 campaign.
