PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is meeting on a Monday night, just not a normal Monday night. The Board moved their meeting to tonight because of the Native American Day holiday. The Board will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Comments by Board members will follow before the Riggs Student Senate presents to the Board. Any public comment will also be taken. Board members will consider a nomination of a delegate for the Associated School Boards of South Dakota assembly and an exclusive beverage contract. The Board will also consider approval of a construction manager-at risk for the Riggs Athletic Addition and will take action on a capital outlay tax request. Also on the agenda is consideration of a policy change and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at the District Administration Building on Poplar Avenue at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
