Buffaloes Roll Longhorns to Finish Season with Seven Wins

The Stanley County Buffaloes were just one game away from an undefeated season after its win on Friday night to close out the regular season defeating Faith on the road 38-8.

Stanley County would though, have to play from behind after the Longhorns would take an 8-0 lead just four minutes into the game. However, the Buffs would respond the following drive as Colton Brady would help tie the game with a nine yard touchdown run. Brady would score another one yard rushing touchdown to give the Buffs a 16-8 lead. The Buffs took the lead not even halfway through the first quarter and then would start to cruise in the second half. Broch Zeeb with a rushing touchdown along with a passing touchdown to Barrett Schweitzer. Schweitzer would also run in the final score of the game.

The Buffaloes will be the seventh seed in the 9AA playoffs and will host the 10 seed Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy on Thursday in Ft. Pierre. Game time is still to be determined.
