The Pierre Governor volleyball team will be looking to end its four game losing streak tonight with a long travel down to Yankton in the second to final road game of the year for the Govs.
The Governors are still in sixth place in the AA standings looking to hang on to the spot with now just six games remaining. Pierre, at 8-6, face the 3-13 Gazelles tonight in what is a must win game for the Govs. Pierre will drop its seed point average regardless of the outcome, but it would be disastrous seed point wise if the Govs were to lose tonight’s contest. Yankton is currently outside of the top 16 and would miss the SoDak 16 if the season would end today. Pierre will have to be ready for a desperate team this evening.
