The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would knock of the Colome Cowgirls in a three set sweep on Thursday with scores of 25-23, 25-11 and 25-18.
The Lady Buffs improve to 12-5 on the year as Colome drops to 4-17 with the loss. Stanley County survived the first set and the rolled through the second and third sets to pick up the win in just three. It was the eighth win of the year sweeping the opponent for the Lady Buffs who will return home on Saturday to face both Todd County and Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in a triangular. Stanley County already has wins against both teams at the Mobridge-Pollock tournament and the Big Dakota Conference tournament.
The day in Ft. Pierre will begin at 1:00 with the Lady Buffs taking on Todd County.
