Governors Finish Three Game Home Stand with Huron

The Pierre Governors are wanting to put last week’s loss quickly behind them as they host the Huron Tigers tonight ending its three game home stand.

The showdown with Tea Area is looming next week Friday, but the 5-1 Governors need to be focused on the task at hand with the Tigers. Huron is currently 3-3 on the year after a win last week Friday on the road at Douglas beating the Patriots 48-7. Huron has had up and down scores with two blowout wins and two three score losses. However, the beginning of the season the Tigers took the Tea Area Titans down to the wire in a 27-26 loss. Steve Steele head coach of the Governors says the Brandon Valley game will be helpful for the Govs the rest of the season…

Huron likes to throw the football and Steele says the defensive backs will have to be good again…

Steele says tonight they’ve got to be able to stop the pass…

Coverage tonight will begin at 6:30 with kickoff at 7:00 on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler and Blake Dean on the call.
