The Pierre Governor soccer team will be in Mitchell on Saturday for the quarterfinals in the 1-8 matchup.
The two teams met in Mitchell on a Saturday morning back on September 16 and it was a 5-0 win for the Mitchell Kernels. This Saturday, the Govs will look to reverse what they did. The easy solution, stopping Mia Mullenmeister who scored all five goals. However, the easy solution is what every team game plans for and is unsuccessful. The Kernels have lost just one game all season coming against Aberdeen Central. The 14-1 Kernels have given up just 12 goals all season while Mullenmeister herself, has scored 34 goals.
Kickoff in the quarterfinal matchup is set for 11:00 AM at Joe Quintal Field in Mitchell.
