FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Stanley County School Board is recognized by the Associated School Board of South Dakota for its work during the 2022-23 school year. The Board earned a Gold Level award for its participation in the Association’s ALL program. ALL stands for Act, Learn, Lead. It honors school boards who strive to enhance their knowledge base for effectively serving students. School Boards that participate in the program earn points through A-S-B-S-D activities, trainings and the demonstration of leadership skills at the local, state and national level. Stanley County’s school board accumulated 500 or more ALL points. A plaque recognizing the achievement was presented to the Board last month. The ALL program is in its seventh year, with 90 school boards, winning awards this school year, which is the second most in the history of the program.
