This past Saturday, Aleise Christopherson, senior at Pierre would hit the 1,000 assist mark just two points into the match against the Brandon Valley Lynx.
Christopherson joins a short list of Governors to reach 1,000 assists for her career with the last one being Lily Sanchez, the career leader in assists with 1152. Along with Miah Kienholz who graduated in 2021, the last three setters for the Governors have reached the 1000 assist plateau. Christopherson says it’s a proud feeling to reach the milestone…
