The Sully Buttes Chargers started its back-to-back games with a loss on Monday in Timber Lake as the Panthers would win in four sets 25-13, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-21.
The loss drops the Chargers to the .500 mark at now 10-10 on the year while Timber Lake improves to 8-12. Sully Buttes has dropped five of its last eight and tonight will have a big Region 6B matchup. The Chargers are at home against the Highmore-Harrold Pirates. The Pirates are 8-12 on the year, however, they’ve dropped nine of the last 11 with the only two wins coming against Sunshine Bible Academy both times. It’s an important game for both teams to get back on track and pick up a Region win as the season is now down to its final three weeks.
DT Meyer, the voice of the Sully Buttes Chargers will have the call tonight on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports with first serve around 7:30.
