PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 5:30 pm on the County’s five-year transportation plan and will consider tax deed properties. The Commission will consider approval of a Big Bend raffle request and an Office of Emergency Management signatory sheet for reimbursements. Commissioner will discuss late fee payments, hours for the courthouse offices and personnel items for corrections and the courthouse. Also on the agenda for the Hughes County Commission is a discussion on insurance with Risty Benefits; reports from Finance Officer Thomas Oliva, Commission liaisons and County Manger Lori Jacobson, An executive session is also on the agenda for negotiations.
