The Pierre Governors have two flights in the state semifinals heading into Tuesday as the Governors sit in sixth after the first day in Sioux Falls.
Breanna Tedrow in singles flight five along with Jocelyn Corrales and Caitlin Ott in doubles flight two both made the state semifinals. Tedrow, the seven seed, was able to upset the two seed and advance to the semifinals and will face the sixth seed in the semifinals on Tuesday. Corrales and Ott dominated their quarterfinal match but the two seed lost to St. Thomas More 6-4, 4-6, 10-6. The duo will play for third place today.
Ott in singles flight two, Bailey Jessen in singles flight four and Genevieve Oxford in singles flight six will play for fifth place. Doubles flight one of Jessen and Elise Bowers will be in the consolation semifinals while doubles flight three of Tedrow and Oxford will play in the fifth place semifinals.
