The Stanley County Buffaloes would win its second straight game and improve to 5-1 with a 44-7 dominating win over the Timber Lake Panthers on Friday.
The Speed of Brenden Bothwell would get the Buffs on the board first late in the first quarter and the two point conversion gave the Buffs an 8-0 lead which would be the game winner. Colton Brady would add a rushing touchdown in the second quarter to give the Buffs a 16-0 lead. Barrett Schweitzer’s rushing touchdown would give the Buffs a 22-0 lead at the break. Stanley County would get scores in the second half from a 50 yard rush from Brady, then a blocked punt from Case Kolda and Schweitzer picking up the ball in the end zone and Brady would finish off the hat trick with a third rushing touchdown as the Buffs went up 44-0 before a fourth quarter score by the Panthers.
Stanley County will face Lemmon/McIntosh in the homecoming game and the final home game all in one on Friday. Kickoff from Ole Williamson field will be at 7:00.
