The Pierre Governors and Watertown Arrows will meet tonight in Watertown, a month later than originally scheduled after the first contest was postponed due to the extreme heat and unplayable conditions in the Watertown Arena.
The Governors and Arrows were going to open up the season on August 22, but the extreme heat and condensation on the floor postponed the game for the month. Now Pierre will play its second game after its 10 day break and will be looking for a second straight win. Watertown is now 9-3 on the season after the win against Brookings on Tuesday and have won three in a row and six of seven. The Govs are in the fourth spot while Watertown is at fifth. A big top five matchup in AA with the state keeping an eye on the contest.
Coverage of the night begins at 6:30 with first serve at 7:00 on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
