The Pierre Governors were on the court last with a five set win over the Lincoln Patriots back on September 16. Tonight the Govs are back on the court in Rapid City Christian facing the Lady Comets.
Pierre will hit the halfway point of the season tonight after the match concludes as they sit at 7-2 overall. The Govs would have had its break exactly halfway in games had it not been for the postponement of the season opener in Watertown. The Govs will play the Arrows on Thursday on the road as well before returning home on Saturday against Brandon Valley. This is a big week for the Govs.
Rapid City Christian is 19-4 on the season and are sitting up near the top of the Class A standings. This is a big seed point game for both teams as the Lady Comets will get two extra points for playing the Govs, a class AA school and for Pierre, it can be a 50 point win with the win percentage the Lady Comets will have at the end of the season.
